We had the skip the line tour with audio guide. Unfortunately the line up was still over 90 minutes. We were unlucky and the Louvre had opened late. The unexpected late opening at 1130 meant huge crowds were lined up already. It was just unlucky. I’m sure on another day, the line may have been the promised 15-30 minutes. For us we waited over 100 minutes to enter and only got in when the security asked for all the 930,1030 and 1130 (at 1250!) people to move to the front and then it was another 20 minutes before we entered.
It’s a huge place and the audio guide was really helpful and gave interesting commentary.
Our kids were exhausted before we even entered so it was a bit of a shame.
We got our tickets emailed at 855am on the morning of the tour and I asked our hotel to print these out.
I did worry this was a scam as we got our tickets later than promised. However, the tickets were legitimate.
